Aqua aerobics is a tried and tested method of getting the blood pumping, toning the body and keeping fit. This aqua aerobics class will be a mixture of different aquatic exercises suitable for the antenatal mum. It will vary between cardio workouts and aqua aerobics type classes combined with the latest techniques for effective birthing.
This aquanatal class is a great way to start or continue exercising before giving birth. There is no set month or week you have to wait for to join and in fact the earlier the better as it gives you longer to get fit and meet other mums on the same journey as you. Likewise, if you only make it for one week it will be one week of exercise and meeting new people. There will be a gentle warm up, some muscle strengthening exercises and exercises to help keep the abs and pelvic floor together.
For just £5 a session, you will be able to exercise in a safe and warm environment and meet others like you who are on the path to giving birth.
There is no obligation to sign up for baby swimming lessons once you have had your baby.
